The last weekend in “formulacion y estructura de mercados” class we begun seeing quantity analysis, we started with the techniques here the professor made 3 fundamental questions
1. Who many variables?
2. What kind of study we want to do, descriptive or inferential?
3. What kind of variable: nominal, interval, ordinal and ratio.
When we understand the rules the professor ask about hypothesis and statistics, the requirement to went out of class was to told him the 5 steps to prove an hypothesis,
Here are the 5 steps we needed to tell.
1. Elaborate an hypothesis zero (Ho)
Elaborate an investigation hypothesis (Hi)
2. Significance grade (0.005)
3. Statistic prove
4. Decision rule
5. Conclusion
All the class tried to remember the steps but any of us remembered. Here when the professor decided to write in the blackboard.
Then when we saw the steps the professor started asking, a number of students didn´t remembered the steps, and with this dynamic many of the student went out early.
It is the way we remember the things we saw in the first semesters, doing dynamics.
